Thorns is a solitary creature that many say has been enlisted or enslaved into the service of the Pharoh, to protect the relm for all eternity. His age and origins are unknown, but he's been spotted wandering the desert over the course of many generations, glowing orbs rotating slowly above his back like firey hands on a clock.

Aptly named, this being is the thorn in the side of his enemies, an especially tough one to pull out. The glowing orbs at Thorns' command leave deep lacerating burn wounds that are slow to heal. Enemies of the mortal relm or otherwise usually fall quickly to the ferocity of Thorns' attacks. His foes range from common bandits to giant desert dieties come to wreak havoc on the city he protects.

They'll tell you he's a soulless warrior, just a pawn to the rich fools who control him. It certainly seems that way to the short lives of mortal men!
Thorns is trapped in his servitude, but no one
ever forgets being free.
